In a text I read, the word “TLS agreement” was mentioned. Could you tell us about TSL?

TLS is a network protocol that enables the secure transfer of information and communication between two computers through a secure layer, using an asymmetric encryption algorithm to verify the credentials of the information transferred between two computers.

With Netscape, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which is another protocol instead of TLS, has decreased usage rate, but is still actively used and developed. There are even companies and websites that prefer to use the TLS protocol instead of SSL.

In general, TLS is used in e-mail systems and this technology is still being developed. Now the most current version is TLS 1.3.
If you need to choose between the two protocols, I recommend choosing TLS. It offers times, times better security, speed and user control than today’s latest technology and SSL.

In fact, the new name of SSL is TLS, SSL protocol is widely used today to provide encryption and securty of the transferred data. Client and server computers communicating using the TLS protocol establish a stable connection using their first transaction TLS handshaking procedure.
