How often is my site crawled by google? What should I pay attention to before scanning?
According to Google, the most “important” pages are the homepage and category pages. These pages have a priority to be scanned most often. For this reason, changes to the homepage or categories will be reflected to Google search results faster than in an old blog post. Googlebot crawls important pages at least every few days, and more often in some cases.
While changes on the homepage and category pages are easier to scan and reflect on index results, this is the opposite for blog content. It is fair to say that patience is the key to this business, while waiting for the changes made in the background, such as blog pages, to be reflected in Google Search.
