How much do you think a good cost per click should be?
When you use CPC bidding, you pay for your ads when a click occurs. If CPC bidding is used in your campaigns, the maximum cost per click is determined. Max. CPC is the highest amount to pay for the click on your ads. This is true unless bid adjustments are set or Enhanced CPC is used.
The amount you want to pay has been determined with the Maximum CPC created for your ads. Bids can be set at the individual keyword level or at the ad group level. When an ad is included in the auction, the Quality Score combination of Maximum CPC is calculated as the Ad Rank and displayed.
Your average CPC is based on your actual cost-per-click, the actual amount you’re charged for a click on your ad. Note that your average CPC may differ from your maximum cost-per-click, the highest amount you’re willing to pay for a click.
Let’s give an example of how your average CPC is calculated. Let’s say your ad got two clicks, one of which cost $ 0.20 and the other cost $ 0.40. You divide $ 0.60 (your total cost) by 2 (total clicks) to get the average CPC of $ 0.30.
